TINKERBELL
ATTRACTION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project brings together the skills that you’ve learned into an end-to-end digital design project, beginning with planning and discovery all the way through implementation. Good UI/UX/IxD is expected—i.e. research, data-informed decision-making, effective web writing, well-thought-out user experience, consistent and appropriate visual elements, etc. You have been hired by a theme park to design a microsite. The goal of the site is to introduce people to a new attraction that will be launching soon. You get to choose the theme park you want to design for, come up with the attraction, and clearly define a goal for your site.
EXECUTION: Welcome to the new Tinkerbell attraction at Disneyland! Rich imagery and playful interactions allow viewers to get a preview and sense of the magic they would encounter by visiting the attraction in person. A couple of these interactions include Tinkerbell “flying” in on the homepage, or the individual talent icons glowing when you hover over them. The organization and structure of all elements within the interface design allow the user to easily navigate through the site.
